We walked by and noticed they had happy hour tacos for AUD 5 each, so we decided to go in for an early dinner. The tacos come in pairs, so each plate costs AUD 10 (two of the same taco). We ordered three plates: beef, pork, and prawns, listed from our favorite to least favorite. You order using an iPad, which is convenient because you can see pictures of the dishes, but it does reduce interaction with the staff. Overall, the experience was nice, and the price was good.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! The ingredients are so fresh, and you can really taste the difference, every dish is full of flavour and made with care. The food quality is incredible, and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The drinks are fantastic, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Agave Rosa. Absolutely worth every dollar! 🌮✨

Spicy, saucy and almost 5 stars! Such a lovely evening at Agave Rosa! The food was delicious (that spicy veg taco? chef’s kiss), service was friendly and impressively fast, and the vibe had just the right balance of cool and cosy. That said… my vegan heart was left a little hungry for options. There were only a couple plant-based picks: the mixed veg taco (yum), the mushroom + cauliflower tostada (also yum) and a “ceviche” that was basically guac’s crunchy cousin for the same price as the scallop version — ouch. Also, tortilla pro tip: eat them the second they hit the table. Blink and they’ll go soggy. Still, a great spot! Would definitely come back — just hoping they give the vegan menu a little more love next time and make alcohol-free mocktail cheaper than $15 each 💚

Absolutely best Mexican my husband and I have ever had. If you have kids who don't eat Mexican, they have hot chips and they're delicious, plus the staff were so friendly and helpful to accommodate our 3 year old. The nachos, bowl, tacos and drinks were all so yum also. Stand out were the haloumi tacos - we had second servings of those ! Thank you 😊

Incredible and fun experience at Agave Rosa! Our group of 4 spent an evening exploring their menu and it did not disappoint. The flavours are authentic and vibrant - definitely some of the best Mexican food on the Gold Coast. The cocktail menu is outstanding. Their margaritas are expertly crafted, each cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. We shared multiple dishes which was perfect for trying a variety of their menu. Service was friendly and knowledgeable - our server made great recommendations and paced the dishes perfectly. Despite being busy, we could still have a good conversation. While not the cheapest dinner out, the quality of food, drinks, and service makes it great value. Perfect spot for groups or date night. Make sure to book ahead - this place is popular for good reason!
