Best Mexican we’ve had and we consider ourselves Mexican connoisseurs lol We did the feed me option and it was honestly incredible. It started with fresh guac and corn chips then raw fish in the most amazing coconut and hot sauce dressing. Absolutely to die for and easily one of the best dishes of the trip. For the main we had build your own tacos and chose the chicken which was a very generous serving. It came with pickles, sauces and cabbage plus a side of roasted potatoes covered in cheese and hot sauce. Everything was so so good, we genuinely could not fault a single dish. Highlight of our trip. We also shared a bottle of chilled red which was delicious. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, the waitress was knowledgeable and kind and the food came out fast. Dessert was mini pineapple juice pops with raspberry and tajin seasoning which was such a fun and refreshing finish. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane. Was having such a good time I didn’t actually take many or decent pics

Went to Baja last Friday with my family and had a great time! The atmosphere struck that perfect balance between lively and relaxed. You can tell straight away that the team here takes their food and service seriously, staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and proud of what they serve. Everything we tried was excellent, but the fish tacos are a must-order!!! It’s fresh, perfectly cooked, and add some their house made hot sauce that packed with flavour. Finish with the tiramisu for dessert; it’s rich, well-balanced, and a standout way to end the meal. The cocktails were also spot on and paired beautifully with the food. Overall, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican food in Brisbane. Will definitely be back!!!

Went on taco night. It was alright but could be batter. meaty tacos were just chunk of pulled meat. It would be nice if it was more balanced. But mushroom taco was pretty good croquet was also chunk of fried pulled meat. but the margarita was pretty cheap n tasty 😋

My partner and I were looking for somewhere different to go out for dinner, we searched through a few options and Baja didn’t have a single bad review in the last few months, which is a hell of a thing to achieve, so we decided to go here The setting is very nice although it was quite quiet as it was during mid week, I imagine it must get pretty busy over the weekend. The food was great, but the standout was actually probably the service. Both the staff members were very attentive without being overly intrusive. I forget the males name, apology, but he took time to explain the menu, recommendations and went into a nice amount of detail about the food and some of the vision of the restaurant. We went for the banquet adding on the extra protein, the crab tostada and the pork croquette (wanted to try everything and I’m clearly greedy). The presentation on all of the food was really well done, not over over the top but just enough to make everything look quite nice. The cocktails were fantastic. We ordered just two margaritas I had the Baja, and my partner had the Coco Loco and we both thought they were great even though I’m not a massive tequila fan. The tortillas themselves were absolutely lovely, a perfect tortilla. The fillings were fairly simple, classic, but certainly done well and the crispy potatoes were exactly that, ludicrously crispy and a fairly unique addition to any dining experience let alone Mexican. It’s probably wasn’t the absolute best Mexican I’ve ever had in my entire life, but it was hard to fault anything, everything tasted great. We had a really nice time and were treated really well. I definite five star dining experience and we’re really happy we went. Thanks very much for the staff For delivering the kind of service that you really want to receive.

One of the best restaurants in Brisbane !! We had some of the most amazing food and service at Baja, definitely recommend sitting at the chefs table. Unreal experience and great value for money 🤩 Just found out Chef Julius has finished up there 😭 he was incredible and made our night! Will be back again soon
