Saw an add pop up on Facebook about their Wednesdays wings special. Always like to try local so went in. Great vibe, service and wings! Price is reasonable and wings and drinks were top notch. 👌

Lovely staff and food. I got the chilli beef bowl, the flavour was amazing. I am a big fan of the music in this establishment, it really sets the vibe. It’s a shame I’m only here for a holiday… maybe not a shame for my bank account, because despite the great prices I would be here far too often.

Had a really lovely little dinner here and am excited to come back and try more from their menu! I had the guac & corn chips, and also took advantage of their “wings Wednesday” deal to get 10 wings for 50c each. The guac & chips were delicious, the only way it could be improved would be for a little bit more guac to be included just because I had to ration it a little to make it last alongside the chips. The wings were absolutely delicious, could hear them still sizzling when they reached the table - the skin was perfectly crisped up, the meat juicy & tender, and the paprika rub on them was delightful (and just the right amount of it too). They were also a nice size, most restaurants around will only serve you the tiniest most pathetic little wings ever, but these wings had some actual meat on them. The service was friendly, the tables were clean, and this is maybe kind of an odd detail but the chairs were really comfy. Next time I want to try the chocolate nachos because they sound incredible.

Really disappointed with my experience. When I arrived, the place was empty, no customers or working staff. I waited for quite a while before a lovely team member noticed me and actually ended her lunch break early to serve me, which I really appreciated. She kindly honoured the lunchtime deal, as I had been waiting before 4 pm, but by the time someone came out it was just after. Unfortunately, a man (who seemed to be the manager) came out and I believe quietly reprimanded her for it, even though the delay was due to nobody being available to serve customers. I ordered a large chicken burrito, which I believe the manager prepared himself. When I got to my car and opened it, I was really disappointed, it was almost entirely rice with only two tiny pieces of chicken, each about the size of a $2 coin. It felt like they’d run out of chicken after lunch and rather than cooking more, padded it out with rice instead. It’s a shame, as I really wanted to support a local business. The chips were delicious, which is why I’ve given the food two stars, and the service four stars purely because of the staff member who went out of her way to help me. Judging by the other reviews this could have just been a one off, unfortunately for me the overall experience was a poor one. Rice Cocoon pictured below.

Amazing, Upscale Burritos! I had a great experience at Burrito Bar Charlestown. The burritos are truly delicious and definitely feel a cut above your average place. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The atmosphere is decent, though it does get quite crammed when the restaurant is busy, so plan your visit accordingly if you prefer a quieter experience. Overall, fantastic food and service.
