10/10 visit here would absolutely recommend!! The food was absolutely amazing, the birria tacos were the standout for us. The service was even better - nothing bad to say at all.

Loved everything about Clayfield Cantina! The food was fresh and full of flavour, we had the guac & corn chips, charred corn ribs, chicken bowl, Birria & beef tacos, and the Churro Biscoff to finish. Their Cardiologist and Habanero special hot sauces were incredible, and I love that it’s BYO! Friendly team, great energy, and perfect for a casual dinner or taco night. —Zen

Been all over Brisbane for birria tacos, genuinely the best you’ll find, plenty of filling and flavour. Staff were very friendly, and even treated us to a free plate of corn chips and guacamole. Music and outdoor decor was spot on, will 100% come back and shout this place to mates!

I stumbled upon the Clayfield Cantina after a Pilates class around the block—tucked at the far back end of the restaurant strip, it’s easy to miss. I wanted something small and quick, and got more than I bargained for! The service was awesome—the two folks there were friendly, kind, and made excellent food to boot. The portions were good, but the flavor…let me tell you about the flavor! It wasn’t good, it was EXCELLENT. The meat isn’t just meat—it’s packed with complexity that doesn’t exist in a typical taco shop. The fish taco with guac was perfectly cooked and crispy, but not too greasy or overly battered like a lot of other places! Overall, I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this spot. Do yourself a favor and pop in for a bite. You won’t regret it!
