As almost the only restaurant opened on New Year day in downtown, they’ve done a good job. The restaurant is packed but the staff on the floor remains welcoming and patient when serving customer. Definitely like the interior - it’s like going into the world of Coco the movie. Food wise, honestly speaking, not the best Mexican food we tried. The paella is a bit too oily but there is good amount of ingredients in it and feels satisfying (guilty pleasure :)) The wings are quite dry inside, maybe the kitchen is just too busy that night. Unless you’re starving, normal burrito on the menu should be alright for you, the portion of the grande version is huge.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this place! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. The highlight of my visit, however, was the exceptional service provided by Shelly. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was just right. Her warm demeanour and professionalism truly enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great service and a wonderful environment.

A really great place to get some delicious Mexican food! I really enjoyed my fish tacos and I strongly recommend their Tree Leches cake if you have a sweet tooth! The service was very friendly and quick too.

What an amazing experience! 🌮🔥 A friend told me I had to try El Mexicano in Adelaide, and wow, they were 100% right! This place is next level. The food was super tasty, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the service was awesome. Prices are really fair, portions were just right, and that chilli sauce (made by their own chef!) was unreal. 🌶️ Big shoutout to Lukus and Karen for looking after us, they were so friendly and made the night even better. I’ll definitely be back every time I’m in Adelaide. Thanks for an amazing dinner, guys!👏

Came here on a Saturday evening as a walk in, not too busy, great vibes. Restaurant does have a takeaway option. I ordered the Mexicano passion agua frescas mocktail, Birria tacos (chicken protein), Mexican style corn and Tres Leches Cake. The staff showed great hospitality and were attentive. The mocktail was nice, I couldn’t taste the mint which would have complimented the drink really well 🍹 I only wanted something small, the waitress recommended the tacos with chicken 🌮🌮 They are fried, however they weren’t oily which is great. The tacos were crispy yet fluffy with a light seasoning 🤌🏾 I really enjoyed this. Corn is chargrilled 🌽 it was nice, sweet and juicy. The dessert was to die for, one of the best sponge cakes I’ve tasted 👏🏾🍰 sorry I forgot to take a pic of it as I ordered it as a takeaway.
