Stumbled upon this small corner shop and I tried it out of curiosity and itโs actually amazing. Got their chicken burrito and itโs flavourful and extremely filling. Very friendly & welcoming staff too. Came there at like 5pm on a Monday & itโs a shame that theyโre pretty quiet. This shop deserves more recognition!!!
Lovely corner shop for a quick Mexican craving! Got their brisket burrito bowl, and it tastes great. Always see a nice crowd at the shop so I finally decided to try it for myself today. Would recommend! Also bonus point, the service and attitude was excellent! The nice girl at the counter was playing her K-pop playlist (Go Go by BTS, love it! Hahah)
A small unassuming Mexican takeaway with a small outdoor seating area. Went with a small group of 4 and ordered a combination of burritos, tacos, their nachos and loaded fries and everyone was very impressed! Their nacho/fries toppings were delicious and their guacamole and tomatoes had a nice flavour. Burritos were large in size, maybe a little less packed with protein but overall delicious. There are options for which rice (brown vs white), type of beans and of course spice level (I recommend hot sauce and it's not too hot). Service was amazing, the owner kindly let us try their house made hibiscus tea!! Would definitely come again. More expensive than your chains but quality is double.
Stopped into Elf & Taco for a quick lunch and grabbed a beef burrito with avo, sour cream, white rice and their hottest sauce. The flavour was good, but it didnโt bring the heat I was expecting, and the amount of beef felt a bit light. With a Coke, the total came to $27.89, which felt a touch steep for a casual grab-and-go. Still, the staff are friendly, it was tasty overall and so Iโd go back to give it another go.
Stopped by this cosy corner spot in Surry Hills and was blown away by the steak burrito โ packed with flavour, super filling, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, with that authentic Mexican touch thatโs hard to find. A genuinely satisfying meal in a welcoming, relaxed setting. Had to come back for the taco's and can confirm they are well portioned! Shall be back every lunch time for my lunch time fix!
