Rookie mistake on my part for not checking the reviews before placing an order. I ordered the Caliburrito and Chicken Nachos for pickup. When my partner arrived, the staff member saw him waiting but chose to walk away and continue chatting with her colleagues, despite the store not being busy. When he asked about the pickup order, she simply pointed to the pickup station, where our food had clearly been sitting for quite some time. The meals were cold, poorly presented, and unfortunately, the taste was even more disappointing. This has been the worst experience we’ve had at a GYG branch. The staff were unprofessional, and the food quality was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location.

i have visited multiple times but this time i am very disappointed. i ordered burrito bowl. but instead she just made buritto when i saw it i asked it is not what i asked ,she started arguing and in return told me that you can look at screen while ordering and when i asked could you change it please she said no. i don't find it ok arguing with staff, but they should learn how to serve customers. and there was other staff who also told meshe is new may be she put wrong order but she was not accepting that . this was for dinner and she just spoiled it order number was 999.

I used to really enjoy GYG and after a work mate told me about his horror story with his order a while back, I thought that it may just be a certain store and would try it for myself. I used to frequent the one in the MLC centre in Sydney years ago and it was great quality and value for money. I was clearly disappointed with what I received today. If you are going to advertise it on your website, you should at leastt deliver something remotely close to that. Mine had the most miniscule piece of guac, for $2.20 and barely any chicken and rice. I was still starving after paying in excess of $17 and had to grab something else after. I have no idea how this place has so many 5 star reviews and i'll be telling more people to avoid, its not anywhere near what it was previously. Real shame.

I ordered from Gyg app when I am on work. When I reach there order is not ready yet but app shows me its ready i wait for approx 20 minutes. I have 30 min break and totally spend waiting over there after that he gave me this shit food you see the condition. Its all burned like its not fresh. Really disappointed with this I ordered lot from gyg before but this experience made my day bad.

The best fast food chain that I have tried in Melbourne. Fast service, kind staff, clean restaurants, and very tasty food options. Many options are available on the menu. As a burrito lover I really recommend Guzman y Gomez if you are in Melbourne and want to grab something fast and delicious!
