Food is very nice, good portion. The only issue for me was the music was too loud and you have to talk loud for the other person to hear you and therefore 4 stars.

Food was great, we ordered paella, nachos and burritos. Although i couldnt taste much mexican spice on the paella but its not bad. Service was ok, the ladies just kept filling up and setting up empty tables knowing weve been getting their attention to order soo we went to the desk instead to order only to be told to go back to our table and she will take it from there HAHA so maybe a 1 star?? Atmosphere? It was ok music not too loud and vulgar which was amazing. However, the staff who we think is on break was eating on on of the tables, with both her feet completely up, with both shoes off! as if shes lounging in her home couch while there is a group of customers infront of her. lol kinda kills the vibe? There were 5 groups of customers including us. Not too busy but not too quiet as well. I mean with the vibe they are trying to provide for customers and the pricing of their food, i could believe the aim of this restaurant is to set a premium mexican authentic atmosphere.. maybe in mexico, staff take their shoes off and put their feet up while eating infront of their customers? Btw. We know she was a staff because she was one who served us :) Also no wheelchair access 🎯

I was a bit nervous about getting Mexico food in Australia but this restaurant hit a home run for me. I loved the chips and salsa, could tell it was a homemade salsa. I also liked the fajitas, the other members of my party enjoyed the burrito and tacos. Great place and very authentic Mexican food

The best part was the surprise birthday wish — totally unexpected and made my day! 🎉 The food was delicious, the vibes were great, and everyone there made it feel really special. Hecho en Mexico is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. Vibrant ambience with a great vibe, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Loved the margaritas too! Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Mexican in Geelong
