Holy crap. I am a birria taco connoisseur and this is by far the best place I’ve been to in Perth.

ordered a grilled chicken queso meal - chips were forgotten, the slaw smelled and tasted off (that old cabbage smell?) and the homemade queso on the chicken had no flavour. very bizarre. my partner has ordered plenty of times from here before and there's been no issue, but my order today was just limp and sad :(
Holy crap. I am a birria taco connoisseur and this is by far the best place I’ve been to in Perth. Imagine your classic street food tacos (oily and delicious broth) well this place was it. The staff were friendly and although it was quiet the atmosphere had great potential. I would highly recommend this place and I will for sure be coming back!!
Let’s start with the ordering experience - a true masterclass in confusion. I asked if the taco shell was soft or hard and got the reassuring answer: “Yes, they’re open!” Excellent news for their opening hours, less helpful for dinner. Gluten-free options? “Absolutely,” they said. Which explains why my “gluten-free” taco order came out as… nachos. Inspired choice. Half the menu was mysteriously unavailable, but at least I got to enjoy a thrilling game of menu bingo - cross-checking what I couldn’t have with what I might still be available. The food itself? Edible in the same way cardboard technically qualifies as fiber. The fried chicken looked about as gluten-free as a bakery window display, so I kindly donated it to my dining companion. Ambience? Think “urban wildlife sanctuary meets mystery cleaning schedule.” The pigeons seemed perfectly at home, which I suppose counts as an endorsement from the local bird community. When I gently pointed out the order mix-up, the staff bristled - apparently the server was “new,” which I’m sure explains everything. Dear owner: hospitality is a career choice, not an experimental art project. Hygiene and basic courtesy are not optional extras. Two stars, purely because I survived the evening. Perth has countless better options - unless you’re a pigeon, in which case, five stars.
This Mexican restaurant was nice. I liked that I could order using a QR code. The food came out fast, which was great. It's a good place if you want a quick and easy meal. Would recommend the margarita slushy—it was pretty good 👍🏻.
We love this place as a family, Hermanos En Cantina or pseudonym Curious George. The atmosphere is perfect casual, Mex Tex (in that order) and heaps of fun, happily melding the Friday night young crowd with the pre or post show set, families, and regulars. Food suits all palates. You can't beat the punchy, fresh flavours and huge array of delectable tacos (Texas Red or Triple H today? Porque nos los dos!), but the brisket nachos are first place in their race. Steak cooked to perfection, chips in Perth's top five (start the debate - list needed!). Great value food and bevs, so there's always a couple of margaritas and tap beers ordered to pair with the gluttony. Delivery orders don't get in the way of service at all unlike some places. So, yeah, we keep coming back regularly - ¡Muchisimas gracias! But I do blame our local Hermanos for turning the kids into WWE fans. Fortunately, the Junk Yard Dog appears for OG crowd.
