We loved Mamis Bondi for tacos while we were visiting Sydney. The menu selection is great and accommodates gluten free and vegetarian diets nicely. We found the service to be pretty good considering it was busy! The actual restaurant space is a bit crammed so I’d recommend takeaway on busier days, especially if you’re in a larger group. Definitely worth visiting!

Very tasty food! I rarely have the chance to eat mexican food this good. We have some restaurants at home but they seem a bit too far from the originals. Huevos rancheros were great! My friend’s dishes ( I forgot the names sice we visited a month ago) were great too. The quesadilla was amazing. Here I tried for the first time the cactus taco. Was interesting, but I guess nothing beats a meat taco😂 Service very good!

The best nachos and tacos we’ve come across in Sydney! We tried their chicken, pork, steak, chorizo and birria tacos as well has the Texas nachos. For a team of 3 people, they pumped out some seriously good food, my partner loved the steak taco - one of the best tacos he has ever had, so big thumbs up from him. Highly recommend that you do yourself a favour and pop in. Only issue is that they don’t do alcohol - it’s byo, wish they did margs!

We had the regular nachos with chorizo, the small burrito with grilled chicken and the quesadilla with grilled chicken. The nachos were really good I would recommend that highly. The dressing, chorizo were all tasty. The small burrito is a good protein size and the chicken was good. Although it was a bit soggy in the end. The quesadilla was also really good and a bit big in portion size.

Having lived over twenty years in Arizona, I am super picky about my Mexican food. In the last 20 years living in Australia I have yet to find Mexican food that was worthy - until now. Mamis in Bondi Road gets it right. The flavours are authentic, the spices just right and the hot sauces are hot! It’s an informal place with limited seating but the food is just excellent. My wife thought the beef was super flavourful and my nachos were baked to perfection. I can’t wait to try out more of the menu. As an extra bonus the staff were friendly and kind. My only regret is that I did not discover Mamis sooner!
