Mariella! Where have you been my whole life? The most amazingly unassuming Mexican bar & restaurant hidden away in Peregian Beach slinging some delicious food & cocktails. Thank you for the hospitality and education on tequilas! Not my last visit by any means.

Cocktails were out of this world amazing - especially the coconut margarita. Tuna ceviche possibly the best we’ve ever had and a real flavour bomb surprise. The corn ribs were exceptional. Suggest to make a booking as people were waiting to be seated and we booked 2hrs prior. Outside seating is the best in our opinion. Still a 5 star review but constructive feedback would be on the tacos: had the fish which had hardly any actual fish and didn’t have much of a flavour pop, added salt and was much better. The prawn tacos again lacked flavour bomb, was not bad but not amazing. After the world class ceviche we expected similar flavour bombs. A little salt and tweaks could take these tacos to another level. Service was good and great atmosphere. One of the best Mexicans in QLD and will be back. $250 for 2 having 4 cocktails, 2 entrees and 4 tacos. Overall with it. If we didn’t have to go home to our baby it could be a dangerous place to be given how good the cocktails are…

Mariella Mexicans was an okay experience overall. The food was decent and flavours were fine, but portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, which made it seem on the expensive side. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, but value for money could be better. Fine for a casual meal, though expectations should be kept in check.

This place is amazing! From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated like royalty from all the staff there and very helpful when it come to deciding what to select to eat as it all look so good. Food was quick and delicious. Papas rancheros and the fish taco were the main highlights for us. Drinks A+++, if you like cocktails you wont be disappointed. Cannot recommend highly enough! Id move to Aussie for this place 😝

Our 3rd experience here in 6 months! While you WONT get cheap nachos and days old enchiladas, you will get elevated, refined and mouthwateringly delicious authentic Mexican food. Paired with excellent service and a classy ambient atmosphere Mariella never disappoints!
