The hype didn't match reality for us... this place looks fantastic but food was heavy & fairly bland - our party of 6 was split 4 (didn't like) to 2 (did like). Given the choice I'd choose Costa Taco every time!
Hooooorrrrible food. Grew up near Mexico and this food isnโt just a cheap imitation, itโs inedible. Iโm used to salty and late night food but this food is plopped on a plate and thrown over the oven. Rice - raw and blackened from reheating at the same timeโฆ. Inedible. Enhiladas โ so salty that me, someone who salts all my food, can barely eat it. Tacos - 70% lettuce and dollar store salsa with cardboard meat. Please go somewhere else. Service is what youโd expect and there is nothing negative to say there, if youโre going to be spending. $20+ a plate go down the street and get better food. Cheaper than that, go to G&G and get better foodโฆ
Been coming since I was a little girl when it was called montezumas. Food is consistently delicious and the nice lady at the front who serves people is always friendly and helpful. Thank you for always serving yummy food and great service.
Fabulous Mexican food in Burleigh Heads, they were very busy even for a Monday evening and having arrived didnโt think we would get a tableโฆhowever, the friendly hard working staff sorted us out and sharing a carafe of Sangria with some fabulous Mexican food made it a treat
Being American, Iโm always on the lookout for good Mexican. The staff were super friendly upon entering. We started with the queso, which was decent, definitely had better. The quesadilla was open faced and very cheesy. We also got the burrito & enchilada combination. Weird having olives on the burrito. Lots of food, took most of it home.
