Well worth a visit , best tacos I've had in a long time. Brisket was extremely tender and flavourful, tacos beautifully crisped and the melted cheese just perfect 👌 consume was addictive and a touch spicy. Great atmosphere, was quiet busy before we left, staff were very friendly and professional. Wish there was one in Sydney

The place is nice but the sandwiches are too hyped, it wasn’t as good as i was expecting. The beef sandwich is good but it just feels like it’s missing something. The rib sandwich was 2/10 because the sauce and pickles were only on one side and again tasted like its missing something. At the end of it its disappointing and expensive for something we didn’t enjoy.

Tried the beef and chicken birria tacos, and their signature rib sandwich. The birria tacos had a good amount of meat and melted cheese and the pickled onions added a nice acidity to the bite. However flavour wise it was quite lacking; the dipping broth for the chicken tasted very diluted while the broth for the beef was slightly better but still lacked depth of savouriness. As for the signature rib sandwich, the beef rib was tender and the bone pulled out effortlessly. However the meat was bland, couldn't taste any seasoning or distinct BBQ flavour. The best part was the toasted bread which was buttery and crispy. Chips were a bit pale and not that crispy, could fry for a bit longer but the seasoning was pretty decent with some pepper and tangy salt.

The food here was fantastic, with really friendly staff making for a great great experience. We got a plate of ribs and the meat just fell off the bone, the gravy they serve with it is excellent. The birria tacos are loaded so two will be enough for the average person. Get in before this place gets too popular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.5/5 – Hit and Miss, but Worth a Try for the Dino Rib Sandwich We were on the hunt for some authentic birria tacos in Melbourne CBD and came across Street Taste. While the food was enjoyable in parts, it didn’t quite hit the mark we were hoping for overall. We tried the beef birria tacos, chicken birria tacos, the smoked Dino rib sandwich, and steak mac n cheese. Starting with the birria tacos — they were decent, but the consommé lacked the rich, bold flavour we were craving. Surprisingly, the chicken birria taco had more flavour than the beef (which is usually the opposite), but still, both were a little underwhelming overall. Now the Dino rib sandwich — that was the star of the show. The presentation was massive and a bit overwhelming, and it was messy to eat (which isn’t always ideal), but the flavour, tenderness, and smokiness of the rib were absolutely next level. Genuinely delicious and worth coming back for. Unfortunately, the steak mac n cheese was the biggest letdown of the night. The steak tasted like deep-fried off-cuts, and the mac and cheese itself lacked any real flavour — more like something out of a box than a freshly made dish. Overall, Street Taste has some potential standouts on the menu (definitely recommend the Dino rib sandwich), but it’s a bit hit-and-miss and probably not fully worth the price tag. Would rate it around 3.5 to 4 stars.
