Incredible atmosphere, beef birria tacos are tender and flavourful. The loaded fries are absolute perfection and the cocktails are delicious and well sized. 10/10 would recommend as a fantastic dinner location!

Honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. We ordered the birria tacos, beef birria sandwich & the sticky date pudding- absolutely perfect for 2. All of the staff were so so kind & the atmosphere feels very welcoming, definitely a gem on Lygon street and well worth a visit. The food was so delicious we forgot to take a before picture of the dessert and went in straight away, definitely coming back here again soon!

visited this Mexican restaurant in Carlton today and everything was delicious. The food tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous. We ordered burgers and tacos — both were juicy, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the tacos with the dipping sauce were amazing. 🌮🔥 The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was excellent. Fabio was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. ✨ Definitely a place I’d come back to. Highly recommended if you love flavourful food, great service, and a nice spot in Carlton!

The venue has a nice, cozy atmosphere. We’ve enjoyed this chain at two other locations, so we decided to try this one as well. It’s situated on the busy stretch of Lygon Street, which can make parking a bit difficult. Fortunately, we had made a reservation, as it started getting busy shortly after we arrived. We ordered the chicken and beef burritos, chicken wings, chicken tacos, and chips. The food was served quickly. The chicken wings were fairly average, and the last piece I had appeared slightly undercooked. The chicken and beef burritos were quite good, but the chips lacked seasoning and didn’t taste very fresh. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but the flavours seem to vary between locations. So far, the Richmond branch has been the best for us.
