Exceptional Service & Amazing Food! We celebrated a 50th birthday at Taquito last Friday, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the evening special. A huge shout-out to Will, whose attention to detail and genuine care for our group made all the difference. The food was exceptional—every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. While the steak was a little tougher than expected (and perhaps not what I’d usually associate with Mexican cuisine), everything else was flawless. What truly impressed us was how accommodating the team was for a guest with significant allergies. It’s rare to find a restaurant that takes this level of care, and Taquito nailed it. Thank you for making this milestone celebration so memorable. 5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommended.

Service was exceptionally friendly, we order the siesta as we wanted to indulge for date night. Every dish was delicious and great portions. Our least favourite was the steak as delicious it could be, steak is always hard to get right anywhere in Melbourne. Overall the food was very tasty and putting the house made hot sauce was 👌!

Lucky enough to go on Monday night for $5 tacos. They were amazing. We had all the meat ones and the flavours were superb. The guacamole was perfect and the goat Quesabirria; something we’ve never had before was delicious. Our waiter was also excellent and fun. So this was perfect and probably too cheap!

Came here on a Sat for dinner. The cocktails were incredibly tasty, especially the Colada and Taquito Marg. Food was really good. Our favourite was the beef barbacoa enchiladas. Tacos were also tasty, though on the smaller side. However, ceviche of the day was pricey at $32. Would still come back!

Awesome restaurant. I’ve been here twice now and the food is still as good as the last time I visited them. My favorite dish is always their papas fritas. I don’t know what they put in it, but it’s so addictive and really good. The tacos are awesome as always, but they do run on the smaller side. So if you feel quite peckish I recommend ordering a flight of tacos (4 tacos) for yourself. They also have awesome margaritas and I recommend sitting in the downstairs area. I really enjoyed my visit. Will definitely come back again.
