My friend and I heard about this place through social media and decided we had to check it out. OH MY LORD that was the right decision!! The bbq pulled pork taco and the honey soy chicken taco were delicious! It hit the spot. The mocha and the umi drinks were perfect. Service was great and we were served our food so fast! Highly recommend to anyone living or visiting the Mooloolaba area. Thank you for a great lunch!!

Might be better when it's less busy but for us the food seemed to take quite a while to arrive. My Pulled Pork Taco was ok, though I was left wondering if it was meant to cool/room temp, but my partner got the Salmon Nachosu which neither of us thought was great and couldn't taste anything miso about it.

If you’re a fan of both Mexican and Japanese food, @ brings the best of both worlds together with their delicious fusion dishes. We kicked things off with the tostadas, which were a real highlight. Crispy bases topped with fresh tuna sashimi, with watermelon adding a refreshing, flavourful twist. Next up were their signature tacos, and these were so good! Served in fried tempura nori shells and packed with flavourful fillings, each bite was incredible. My favourite was definitely the baked salmon. We also shared the slow-braised beef nachosu. The chips were super crispy and loaded with generous, tasty toppings, this one definitely has a spicy kick! Such a fun spot with creative food. I would recommend checking it out.

I had a lovely time at Tokyo Taco! A very unique concept and executed perfectly. I had the build your own beef bowl, so delicious and filling. Customer service was great, especially the girls! My friend got the tostada (pictured) and said it was delicious. Will definitely be back as it’s gluten free / gluten friendly and yummy.
